If you’ve ever wished your Sim parents could actually keep an eye on their babies from another room, the Functional Baby Monitor Mod by Kemzima is about to make that dream come true. The creator has officially revealed an exciting new functional CC project that introduces working baby monitors, multiple product lines, and immersive nursery gameplay for The Sims 4.
According to Kemzima, this community-requested project has been one of the most enjoyable mods they’ve worked on so far. It also pushed their custom content and animation skills even further, making this much more than just another decorative nursery set.
Functional Baby Monitor Mod Includes Three Unique Baby Monitor Brands
One of the biggest highlights of the Functional Baby Monitor Mod is that it doesn’t just add a single baby monitor. Instead, players will be able to choose from three different fictional manufacturers, each offering its own price range and functionality.
The budget-friendly LlamaPrice lineup introduces the MonkeyMinder Nursery Listener and Parent Pager Set, which pairs with a single nursery unit. It’s designed as an affordable option for smaller households that simply want the essentials.
For players looking for a step up, OohBeGahTech offers the CribView Floor Stand Camera and Video Receiver. This affordable model can pair with two nursery units, making it a nice middle-ground option for growing Sim families.

Premium Nursery Cameras Add Even More Possibilities
The premium NooBooSense collection introduces the BunnySense and BearSense Pro Smart Nursery Camera and Parent Console. This version can pair with up to six nursery units, although Kemzima mentioned that the pairing limit could even become unlimited depending on community feedback.
Having multiple monitor options gives the mod a realistic progression system, allowing players to choose equipment that fits both their Sim family’s budget and household size instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all solution.

More Functional Gameplay Is Still Being Revealed
Although the initial announcement already looks impressive, Kemzima confirmed that there is much more to showcase before release. Over the coming days, players will get previews of the full gameplay experience, including monitor pairing, baby alerts, video monitoring features, and several custom interactions built specifically for the mod.
The creator is also actively asking the community for feedback while development continues. That means some features could still be adjusted before launch, including the maximum number of nursery units supported by the premium monitor.

Two Versions Will Be Available at Launch
Kemzima plans to release the project in two separate versions to suit different playstyles. Players who simply want beautiful nursery decorations can download the CC Pack Only version, which includes the baby monitor objects without any gameplay features.
Those looking for the complete experience can install the Functional Baby Monitor Mod and CC Pack version, which adds all of the interactive systems, animations, and gameplay mechanics shown in the previews.

Final Thoughts
The Functional Baby Monitor Mod is shaping up to be one of the most immersive family gameplay additions we’ve seen this year. Instead of being purely decorative, these baby monitors bring meaningful interactions and realistic nursery management that many family-focused Simmers have been requesting for a long time.
Before installing, players will only need the Lot 51 Core Library / Injector as the required dependency. Kemzima has confirmed that the public release is scheduled for August 7, 2026, so if this mod has caught your attention, keep an eye on the upcoming gameplay previews and mark your calendar for release day.
