This mod opens those interactions up for regular gameplay, making it much easier to build your own medical scenarios at home or on a custom lot.

There is quite a bit packed into this standalone exam bed. Your Sims can admit and discharge patients, check their ears and eyes, take their temperature, scan their bodies, collect samples with a swab, and access different treatment options.

Once your patient is lying on the bed, click directly on the patient rather than the exam bed. That’s where you’ll find the available examination and treatment interactions. The object can be found under Hobbies & Skills, with the debug tag turned on.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

There are a couple of gameplay details worth knowing before you start building your hospital. If a patient is lying back and the medical interactions aren’t appearing, Tinycoffeecups recommends waiting until the current interaction finishes before stacking more treatments.

The creator also notes that this object does not come with buffs and isn’t intended to be a complete replacement for the active Doctor career. It’s really about giving Simmers more control over those medical interactions for storytelling.

There is also an Ask To Leave interaction that may appear. For Sims outside your household, this tells a visiting Sim to stop visiting and leave the current lot, usually walking toward the lot exit before disappearing.

Requirements and Download

The Exam Bed Unlocked Interactions mod requires The Sims 4: Get To Work expansion pack. Since the mod uses the medical interactions associated with the Doctor career, you’ll need the pack installed for the object to work properly.

Tinycoffeecups released the mod on July 22 and provides the Exam Bed package as a standalone download. The creator also notes that players should report any conflicts they encounter while using it.
