The Chill in Bed Update v1.1 from Meraki is bringing a cozy new feature to The Sims 4. The update adds a brand-new Chill & Scroll interaction, giving Sims another way to relax in bed while casually using their phones.

If you already enjoy the Chill in Bed mod, this update makes those lazy moments even more fun. Sims can now settle into bed, scroll through their phones, and build their Fun need while doing it.

Chill in Bed Update v1.1 Introduces Chill & Scroll

The biggest addition in the Chill in Bed Update v1.1 is the new Chill & Scroll interaction. Once available on beds, Sims can relax in different positions while scrolling on their phones, making those little everyday moments feel more natural.

Chill & Scroll also provides the same buffs as the original Chill in Bed interaction. So instead of Sims simply sitting around doing nothing, they can now enjoy some downtime while keeping themselves entertained.

Four Different Animations Add More Variety

Meraki has also added four different animation variations for Chill & Scroll. The animations are selected randomly, with some variations being more likely depending on the Sim’s gender, giving the interaction a little more variety when Sims use it autonomously.

There are also some thoughtful changes behind the scenes. Autonomy has been removed for elders and Sims who dislike phone activities, while the Sim’s back remains positioned at the same distance from the bed as the game’s existing Relax interaction. This was done to help avoid problems with CC beds that have extra pillows or other details.

Chill in Bed Update v1.1.1 Fixes Mod Conflicts

The early Caladium release already went live on August 21, with the Begonia release coming up on September 4. The update is then scheduled to reach everyone with the public release on September 11.

The latest version of Lot 51 Core Library is required for Chill in Bed Update v1.1. This dependency is especially important for the v1.1.1 update, which fixed mod conflicts.
