Running a small business in The Sims 4 is already a fun way to build your Sim’s dream career, but what happens when a celebrity walks through the door? The Celebrity Visits Your Small Business Mod by Sasha’s Space brings a little more star power, social drama, and unexpected consequences to your business, giving your Sims a chance to interact with famous visitors and deal with the attention that comes with them.
Inspired by the creator’s experience playing with the Businesses and Hobbies pack, the Celebrity Visits Your Small Business Mod adds a new layer to celebrity encounters. Your Sim can introduce themselves to a celebrity who visits their business, share the experience on Social Bunny, and potentially build a friendship. However, not every encounter goes smoothly, and a bad interaction could put your business reputation and progress at risk!
Celebrity Visits Your Small Business Mod Adds New Star-Studded Encounters
The Celebrity Visits Your Small Business Mod makes celebrity visits feel more meaningful by introducing positive and negative encounter outcomes. According to Sasha’s Space, positive encounters are four times more likely to happen, so your Sim has a better chance of making a good impression when a celebrity stops by.
When a celebrity visits your open small business and taps in, your Sim can use the Friendly pie menu and select “Introduce Yourself.” This triggers a notification and moodlet for your Sim, while the celebrity receives a moodlet of their own. If you enjoy seeing how different Sims react to the same situation, you can even check the celebrity’s moodlet to discover their perspective on the encounter.

Share Your Celebrity Encounter on Social Bunny
After introducing themselves to a celebrity, your Sim can share the experience on Social Bunny. This is where things get even more interesting, because the celebrity can eventually hear about the post and contact your Sim with a text message. Just make sure the celebrity is no longer on your property, lot, neighborhood, or zone, since the message will not arrive while they are still in the same area.
For positive encounters, receiving that message makes your Sim happy and rewards them with positive reputation and friendship gains. Celebrity interactions can have an impact beyond the initial meeting, giving your Sim another reason to keep building relationships with famous visitors.

Reconnect With Celebrities and Discuss Their Visits
A successful introduction can also unlock a special “Nice to See You Again” interaction under the Small Business pie menu. This becomes available when your Sim meets the celebrity again, but there is an important requirement: your Sim must be friends with the celebrity, not simply a Celebrity Acquaintance. Since celebrities can be difficult to befriend, you may need to keep interacting with them before this option becomes available.
Your Sim can also discuss the celebrity visit with other Sims through the Small Business pie menu. They can describe the experience as good, bad, or just okay, adding another way to bring the encounter into everyday conversations. This discussion option is available for two days after your Sim introduces themselves to the celebrity.

What Happens When a Celebrity Encounter Goes Wrong?
Not every celebrity visit will end with a new friendship. Negative encounters are less likely, but they can still happen, giving your Sim a notification and moodlet that reflect the unpleasant experience. Your Sim can then post about the encounter on Social Bunny, which prompts the celebrity to respond and ask them to make a new, positive post about celebrities.
At this point, your Sim has a choice. They can agree to make the positive post or ignore the celebrity’s request. Agreeing gives your Sim a chance to turn the situation around and potentially leave the encounter on better terms. It can also open the door to the “Nice to See You Again” interaction if they meet the celebrity again and meet the friendship requirements.

Ignore the Celebrity’s Warning at Your Own Risk
If your Sim ignores the celebrity’s first message, the celebrity will text them again and confront them about the situation. Your Sim can still choose to cooperate, but refusing a second time and telling the celebrity off comes with serious consequences.
The creator warns that this can cost your Sim friendship points, character reputation, a business perk point, and some of their business reputation. In other words, a single bad celebrity encounter can turn into a much bigger problem for your Sim’s business. If you want to protect your hard-earned progress, think carefully before deciding to ignore a celebrity who wants you to change your Social Bunny post.
