If your Sims could use a little more high school drama, gossip, and nostalgia, there’s a new Gallery spotlight worth checking out. The Rockridge Roundup takes us back to Rockridge Heights High School, giving players a closer look at the places where Sims can study, hang out, make memories, and, naturally, get involved in a little drama.

The September 10, 2026 Gallery Spotlight is written by none other than Summer Holiday, who is taking us on a tour of her old high school while sharing a few throwbacks about some familiar faces from the Sims world. Better yet, players can download the featured lots and household directly from The Sims 4 Gallery and start creating their own stories.

The Rockridge Roundup Takes Us Back to High School

Rockridge Heights High School is filled with plenty of places for teenage Sims to spend their school days. From classrooms and decorated lockers to the gym, courtyard, library, and auditorium, the school is set up to feel like a place where something is always happening.

And honestly, that is exactly what you want from a Sims high school. Your Sim can be trying to survive a pop quiz one minute and catching up on the latest gossip in the quad the next. Summer even describes Rockridge as a place where you can ace your test and still make it to the quad in time for the latest drama.

The Library Is Perfect for Study Sessions

First stop on Summer’s tour is the library, which sounds like the ideal spot for Sims who actually want to get their homework done. The two-floor library has plenty of study spaces along with chess boards that can help Sims build their skills.

Of course, a quiet library also means it is probably not the best place for a full-volume gossip session. Still, if your Sim needs somewhere to catch up on homework, study for school, or sneak in some skill building, this looks like one of the most useful spaces around Rockridge.

The Gym Brings the School Spirit

The Rockridge gym is all about school pride, athleticism, and social connections. Sims can work out on the treadmill while also keeping up with everything happening around them.

Summer’s take on the gym makes it sound like more than just a place to exercise. It is another social hub where Sims can build their reputation, meet other students, and maybe burn off some stress after a particularly painful pop quiz.

The Quad Is Where Sims Catch Up

If there is one place that sounds made for teen Sims to hang out, it is the quad. The courtyard features a fountain, pergola, and plenty of spots for students to sit around and spend time together.

Summer remembers meeting up with Travis and Liberty after class to laugh, make plans, and keep track of everyone’s relationships. Basically, if something happened at Rockridge, there is a good chance someone was talking about it in the courtyard.

The Auditorium Is Ready for More Drama

Then there is the auditorium, which has hosted some of the biggest moments in Rockridge student life. From dances and Career Day to graduation, this is clearly one of the places where memories are made.

The official spotlight points out that the auditorium has seen everything from balloon arches and string lights to graduation banners and red carpets. And if you have played with high school Sims before, you already know that a school dance can be the perfect recipe for friendships, romance, and plenty of drama.

Meet Familiar Sims Back in the Day

The nostalgia does not stop with the school itself. The Gallery spotlight also introduces the Back in the Day household, featuring teenage versions of familiar Sims including Don, Dina, Nina, Travis, Liberty, and Summer.

It is a fun opportunity to imagine what these Sims were like before becoming the characters players know today. EA leaves much of their teenage history open for players to explore, meaning you can take these younger versions of familiar Sims and create your own stories about what happened before their adult lives began.

There are also some pack requirements to keep in mind. The high school and auditorium were created using High School Years, Discover University, Artist Studio Kit, and Music Den Kit. The Back in the Day household uses High School Years, Discover University, Mean Girls Capsule Kit, and Clueless Capsule Kit.

The Rockridge Roundup is a fun little trip down memory lane for Sims players who love seeing familiar characters in a new light. Between the high school locations and younger versions of some classic Sims, there is plenty here to inspire new stories in your saves.
