I /technically/ got a new computer. I gutted my mom's (technically better) computer, put all my parts in (well, my graphics card), bought a brand new harddrive, and installed Windows 7. All my old stuff is on here, though. I just had to install all my programs. The best part though is that my "old" computer still exists a room away... I partitioned (god did it take me FOREVER to get it to work, but) partitioned my old harddrive down the middle and installed Windows 7 for my mom, so i's like we have two new computers in the house. But I could have done less... change the wallpaper for my mom and she thinks it's a new PC. |
