I have to thank you SO much for your involvement to provide our entertainment. You (and your hardware!) has gone through hell for that story. I really loved every moment of it, and probably will go back and read it again.

If I was an emotional person, I know I'd be at least tearing up over this.

But congrats, it was great, and I'm happy that you can finally play at your own pace! Have the fun you want!

Thank you, Derek! :D I'm so glad you and others have enjoyed reading it. Even if only one person enjoyed it then my work is done. :] And I really hope I don't come off as sour about the legacy. It was a wonderful thing. I loved it to pieces. It just got really frustrating near the end with my save corrupting every few days. Every now and then I mentioned my legacy to my Mom. And yesterday I told her I had finished and she asked if I cried. :P Because she knows me, I get emotional. I didn't tear up but I was sad about it being over.

Yeah, I can see how that would be so frustrating. I know for a fact that The sims 2 had much more stability when It came to multiple generations etc. I just dom't get why they have to become corrupt so often. I personally blame Cc, really. I went about 4 generations without much trouble when I was playing light on CC. It made me so happy. But it's the price you pay to have good lookin Sims.
