I wish in CAS you could choose a specific gender your sim prefers.
Because not everyone would just have a wife, then go off with a man, then go off with a woman again, or vice versa.

That way our hetro and homo familes would stay intact.. at least in gender :L

Hmm.. I guess I haven't played enough to notice all of this. I just remember in TS2 University there was this one gay guy who always flirted with the cook. Quite funny actually xD

I do agree that having an option to set the gender they prefer in CAS would be nice. And I suppose it could get annoying because there's no method to the madness. All in all it still really doesn't bug me. XD

I -think- NRaas' Mastercontroller mod has an option which allows you to set a sim's preference, as well as the chance of how many specifically orientated sims will come out (literally). But I haven't really had the chance to play around with the mods enough yet, so I'm not sure if this is correct.

I would further reply to that statement, but I am putting my foot down on that topic. The argument on whether being gay is a "life choice" or "somthing your born with" is a HUGE argument, and in the end, it is all opinion based.. I don't want to brew an argument over this fragile subject. So as my old mod senses tell me to do, try to steer clear of the subject... Well, I guess I don't want to be bossing people around, but, that argument is scary when drawn out. I mean... I don't have execute decision making skills, so... I advise we stay clear of that topic. I don't want to see a shitstorm.. Can we just stick to the main topic? And I don't mean to say that that argument was without a doubt going to occur, but I fear it may have.. It just looks like it has the opportunity to.

Honestly, I have a fair mix of homosexual and heterosexual sims in my game when story progression does its thing. And I love it because it adds a realistic diversity sometimes.

If there is an option to give your sims a gender preference I would like to suggest that there should be a "no preference" option because some people just fall in love with others based on personality, regardless of gender.

Offtopic: I once had a dream that LN was going to have the trait "Bunny, bunny" with the game and that trait made your sim gay.

Isn't that kind of like, Pansexual? I think that's so cool. But I almost feel like Pansexuals MUST have some preference. I almost want to poke the one I know and be like "But what tickles your fancy, huh? Is it those hotdogs or tacos?!"
