I think its really amusing.
I have story progression on 24/7
And now nearly all my sims seem to have entered homosexual relationships
Its like 80% of them are gay/lesbian
It might be due to overpopulation
When you have so many sims they all turn gay to stop having babies?

Has anyone else encountered this?

Oh.. that is really weird. Maybe the next generation will be better. The game regulates the babies based on population. Thats why they did the apple thing.

Anywho, I have the opposite problem... or not problem, but none of my sims are gay. None. ;-;

Lol, that's very strange but kind of funny. I'm lucky if any sims in my town pro-create so maybe they've all turned gay and I just haven't noticed.

Yup, that's my thing too. I don't care if my sims are gay but story progression better be pro-gay adoption because my sims are definitely not going to marry their cousins!

Then move in some families, I may have a maid in my house, but she doesn't do everything for me, and neither will story-progression.

Touché. Still, if story progression is making sims fall in love and whatnot, whether homo or heterosexual, I don't think that babies are too much to ask for! Maybe I'll have to go from house to house and just make it happen.

I hate it when I move in a gay couple who are married, and one of them dumps his husband for a girl. Granted he hated commitment, but he stayed with that chick for the rest of my game.

My sims seem to be bisexual. They all seem to hook up with both the opposite and same sexes

The majority of my sims turn out straight though I do have the occassional gay person pop up. I usuallly have to make my sims gay. My Unflirty, Grumpy, No Sense of Humor middle-aged mom started a relationship with a bisexual woman who was two-timing her for a man. I find it really shocking when my simmies turn out bi.

It seems like all my sims are bisexual. They aren't' restricted by gender. :D Anyways, I think it's pretty trippy. I randomly decided to play this sim yesterday who was pregnant. She had a boyfriend but was also in love with a girl. It's cool with me.

Now, my Sims don't get out much (not unlike me ) but I have yet to see a homosexual Sim, but I'll be keeping my eyes out, considering how common it can be, apparently. Unlike SOME people, I would be glad to have gay/bi couples in my neighborhood.

Though, I'd probably make a fat hillbilly to go around and troll them.

I personally enjoy some trolls. They aren't to be taken seriously, that's the first mistake.
And if you do take em seriously.. sucks for you.

I would really like to experience this epidemic of homosexuality on my game. Is there any real way to trigger it? Maybe make an "immortal" sim and set everyone else to age super fast.. get out a couple generations and see what happens?

Its all to do with balancing out the population. Move in a load of families and your sims will all turn gay to stop babies being born
