Well, we have a forum history thread don't we? Why don't we recall back on the chatroom history, since it's gone and all.

According to old chatters, in 04/05 some forumers came to the chatroom. The earliest drama happened including mod drama, many people tried impersonating Snooty and the chat started to get a bad reputation because of the drama.

Now I only joined in 05/06, but I'm sure alot of more stuff happened before that.
In 04 (I think) it started up, and people flooded to it such as old forum members, and randomers. Playerdepain66, Kitiara, OctoberEcho, coffee, Nitrogen, mikeinside (I think? idk) and a few others were there in the early years.

In 05/06, alot of people started coming. Groups began to form, drama started. Drama-starters came such as Selena, Weed and many others. Memorable members such as Paige, Hazel (now known as Brooke), Taylor, Mike, Krissy, Molly and many others started to join in these years. In 2007, a flashchat was made and then in mid 2007 a group formed called the "Regulars". At first it was very small, consisted of Paige, Kitiara, Java (Vin), Hazel (Brooke), me, and a few others. A month passed and more users started to join, such as pupluv (Paigero), popcorn (Emily) and they joined the regulars group.
In August others arrived such as Candy, Marizza, Namine, Stacey, Tatiana (but I think she joined before that?).
Then secrets were revealed (The two Marizzas, the fake Stacey, mod passwords, mod drama and many other things) which caused members to leave. Bribble also came back again. By 2008, there was about 20 people on a day. Other members such as Kitty, Zoe, Lazy, Erry, Timmy and much more joined.

Then finally, in the summer of 2008, TLKZJH formed which lead the remaining members to go there. After it ended, alot of people had left. Paige, and Tatiana (along with a few others) had left, and many others were on the verge of leaving.

Then in Summer 2009, it all finished off with drama, which then caused the chatroom to become officially dead.
Then in January, it was shut down. Then re-opened again in May.

After May, it was dead, again. In August, it started to become alive again with a few new people like Jessicax3. Some old regulars go there sometimes, like coffee (sims2rmylife), Annie, Jawsh (me), KittyM-, VampireZozo, Erry, and a few others. The noobs have changed to some Kurdish people who seem to be VERY annoying and always asking for 'sex chat' via webcam.

I visited the chat.. like twice I think? The second time everyone was being really mean to me, calling me a forum spy and such. I think maybe I chose the wrong time to visit the chatroom. /:

No I wouldn't do that. I really don't know why they'd get that idea, I guess at the time there was some tension going on between chat people and forum people though.. but I wasn't involved in it.

There was always tension between the forum and chat, I think.
Who knows what triggered it, it was even there when I first joined.
At one point everyone was talking loads of crap about it because the chatroom mods were being insulted.
The rude behavior is probably due to the regulars. They hated new people.
I dunno, it was pretty fun on there though. xD

Lol yeah same went for me. Though I remember some kid was really nice and I was told he was just sucking up. XD Oh! And I got banned in the chat once. Yay!
