I actually just starting playing TS1 again specifically for the Superstar aspect...I love making my sims famous.
I kind of want to install TS2 though, but I'm on a laptop and I'm afraid it will be too laggy...hm..

I still play TS1 from time to time since I no longer have TS2. Thanks to my mom and grandma thinking the sims was bad.

I quit playing the original Sims before I had even heard of The Sims 2. When it was announced, I put all my Sims EP's on eBay while I could still get a decent amount of money for them.

I play sometimes, but i get bored really quickly because I lost some of my favorite expansion packs...superstar and makin' magic! Sims 2 keeps me more entertained.

yes, i play it all the time, since the sims 2 is on my sis's laptop and she doesn't let me play it that often.
I love playing the sims 1!!! its so much more addicting than the sims 2!
I have a wizard, witch (who lives in magictown)
a superstar who is engaged to a townie superstar
A rich woman (Avonlea DeMoore and her puppy Poopsie)
And a poor guy

Another guy who his having an affair
With the mom of my large family!

Re: Still Playing? If I knew where all the discs are, you know what, I would probably re-install them all and give it another go, because I LOVED Superstar and Makin' Magic. I really hope these two expansion ideas make a major comeback with TS3. If they do, I will forgive them for making me wait till 18 days before the supposed release date to announce that they are delaying it for 4 months. *ends bitterness*

Re: Still Playing? I was thinking of buying the complete collection one day. I would love to go back and play the game, there was a certain feeling I got that I don't have when playing The Sims 2.

Re: Still Playing? I recently discovered how to play TS1 on my laptop with Vista, so I've been playing for a few days.
I love TS2, but it doesn't work on my laptop, so TS1 has occupied me so far.

Re: Still Playing? Sometimes me and my brother play it because we miss the simple, cute interface it had and the nearly-nil loading time (heehee). It was never the same as it was it the olden days of no TS2, though.
