...really? We've got mods randomly editing posts without even saying it's a mod doing it now? And replacing an "I don't know" answer... from someone who was being directly addressed... with something even more unhelpful and confusing? I doubt it's nærd, that's just bizarre. It's like we've got a hidden rogue mod playing mind games on us all.

I thought you'd be more excited about the fact the posts will come back.

The last thing he said was directly referring to this topic, wasn't it? (And over 10,000 posts being deleted and restored two weeks later over a visitor increase seems unlikely.)

Yes, having those Sims 3 pics in the forum is a huge strain on the server. I have contacted my host if that is really the case.
But I just made a Sims 3 pictures page in the main menu in the hope to lessen the high forum traffic somewhat.

The whole site was down though. There was a post on the bbs about it (it got into most popular threads, popular forum this is). Good to see a sims 3 section though.

I'll take down the pictures, at least for the 12 page article and just keep the link to them.

*edit* I took down both articles, seeing as the links are still there and all the crazy fans have been here already.

You been talkin' bout me behind my back? And me, hold a grudge? I'm not 12, I don't hold grudges. (No offence to 12 year olds, it's just a saying.) There's only one person in this forum I've had it in for, and I think we all know who that was. And when I go in and edit other people's posts, I use my favourite colour!

An update:
You all may have found the website not being online the past days. I contacted my host what is going on and apparently a setting of the server concerning the amount of visitors was too high causing it too overload and thus shutting down. My host has lowered the setting to more acceptable levels.
When a lot of people visit this site now, the loading may be a bit slower, but it will no longer shut the site down.
