Soft music Sometimes I lay in bed, listening to ocean waves and the rain pouring in the forests. It helps me relax, It helps me think of good soothing thoughts. I just love nature sounds especially ocean waves. When I put on ear phones, close my eyes and turn the cd to ocean waves, it feels like I'm lying on the beach next to the shore.

Hip Hop Sometimes when I listen to hip hop music, I want to dance and have a blast. It makes my heart race with excitement, my body move to the rhythm and my soul listen to each beat.

Rock n' Roll Sometimes I want to listen to rock n' roll when I'm in a certain mood. I want to hear the loud beats, the singing and the feeling where you want to stand up and dance.

I listen to progressive metal to chill.

I listen to goth/symphonic metal if i am bummed.

I listen to industrial metal if i am excersizing.

I listen to power metal if in the car.

I listen to death/stoner metal whenever really.

I listen to nu metal if i am at a party.

I like pop whenever i'm really hyper or its like 2 in the morning and i just ate a whole bunch of sugar

I like rap/hip hop when I feel entergetic or something

I listen to jazz when its playing in the waiting room of a doctors office or whatever...

Hmmm, I listen to instrumental/soothing video game music when I'm doing math, lol.

I listen to some rock music when I'm feeling analytical.

I listen to 80's power ballads when I'm feeling particularly sorry for myself, which fortunately isn't very often.

The rest of the time, I listen to oldies or corny pop music.

I listen to rap & hiphop when I'm in a good mood.

I listen to country when I'm ticked--mostly because having to listen to country itself drives me up a wall. I hate country. lol.

I listen to R&B when I'm down I have a c.d burned just for that

I listen to Hip hop or Rap in the car, at home, or pretty much any other time I can.
I also listen to different types of music when I'm with friends.

I listen mostley to singer/songwritter pop, and mostley female singer/songwritters for some reason. I love music that has a deper meaning and when the artist burns for what he/she is doing. As in anything in life I think you must love what you do to do it good.

I listen to the radio most of the time, which would be pop.

Sometimes when you really concentrate on songs and their words they can even give you advice and are really meaningfull sometimes.

I never listen to radio. It's just crapy music they play. And besides, since I have a big record collection theres really no use for it.

Sometimes i listen to streaming radio on the internet... usually you can find a whole station devoted to the music you want to hear... no matter how obscure it is

I listen to R&B when i'm by myself and feeling sad. I listen to Hip-Hop or Rap when i with my friends, or in my car, or... basically all the time. I listen to other stuff too if it sounds good to me.

I used to do this quite a bit, but now I've forgotten where I got my streams from. Alas.

R&B is probably one of my favorite types of music because it works as a good pick me up...in a strange kind of way...

i love all types besides jazz americana bluegrass (old old oldold boring suff oldies are cool though only old stuff i can stand lol other than that everything but i bought the new avril lavigne CD its awesome!!

The only type of music I really can't stand is R&B. I mean, I can stomach some rap and some country, but R&B...meh. Also, hmmm, I don't like really heavy metal that has about a zillion beats and has more growling/screaming than vocals.

I always listen to Hip-Hop or Rap all the time.I also like elevator music and jazz.
