I can't figure that one out either. Am I supposed 2 change that into a decimal which is .33 and square it?

When something is to a negative power, you switch the fraction. I would then equal 3/1, to the power of 2. 3/1 is 3, so its just 3 to the power of 2.
The answer then is 9...

This is an actually good game. You have to actually think for it. Let me try one.
-3x+10=55, this one is easy. What does x equal?

uh.... unless I'm doing that wrong, it's unsolvable unless you solve it as an imaginary number.
When someone says "to the power of" they are referring to the exponent.
EX: x³ is x cubed, or x to the third power.
x² -7x + 12=0
I suck at the quadratic formula. Here's one you can do in your head.

x1=4 x2=3
here's a really easy one
y-x=4
-2y-x=6

Really easy? Ha! I had to learn how to do it online. I couldn't remember. lol
Y= -2/3 X=-4 2/3
Two points on a cordinate plane are: (2,4) and (-3, -3)
What is the slope?
Bonus!: Who invented the cordinate plane?

I used the two points to find the slope then figured it out in point slope form but yeah i got
y=7/5x+4/5
heres one
2 is what percent of 40

$1.26
Here's a hard one, well I thought it was hard, but it's off of my practice test that I had to do today. Good luck solving it.
Pamela Ferguson was setting up two aquariums in her new office. At the pet store, salt water fish were priced at $4 each and fresh water fish were priced at $3 each. She bought some of each kind and paid $58 for a total of 17 fish. how many fresh water fish did she buy?

10 fresh water fish, and 7 salt water.
I'm horrible at those...but for some reason, I saw the answer instantly in my head.
Alright,
What's the distance and midpoint of these two points: (2,5), (-4,-1) ??

Distance: sq. root 72
Midpoint: (-1, 2)
f(x) = 8x - x^2
Find: f(6) and f(c+4)

I need help with that.
I'll do some easy algebra.
2(x+4)=50
