I'm fine with it too and yes the Sims 4 does run better then sims 3. But I have to admit it does get tiring seeing the same old thing after a while.

Do you think the modding scene for The Sims 4 is good? Do they add a lot to the game?

I have to admit I probably wouldn't have been as happy with The Sims 3 if it weren't for mods. (I mean I ended up being turned off anyway because of save issues but that's beside the point...)

(Sorry if this isn't the best place to ask, I didn't really want to create a thread for it)

I'm somewhat afraid of mods messing with my game so I haven't tried any for Sims 4 yet. I'm interested to know the answer to this question as well. I browsed Mod the Sims a little but nothing really caught my eye.

I saw this blog post about 50 mods for the game: http://twinfinite.net/2014/10/sims-4-mods/

I thought the trait one sounded promising. One of the things that bothers me about The Sims 4 is the lower amount of base traits (3 instead of 5 I think) Does anyone use that mod? Does it change the game significantly?

Sims 4 is still selling enough to warrant a Sims 5, right?

It's kind of sad that EA has such little respect for the franchise that they would pull the plug on it for one under performing edition of the series. Instead of looking into what went wrong the higher ups will probably just assume people aren't interested in The Sims any more.

I mean, even The Sims 3 sold well despite the problems people had with it.
