I'm also working on a complete collection of Season 1. Not just all the released tracks, I'm talking every single (complete) song they've put in the show, as well as some others. I've 'borrowed' the audio from Mercedes' complete RESPECT song that was featured on Glee: The Road To Seectionals, as well as the two full songs that the Acafellas sang (This Is How We Do It has voice recorded over it... a pity), a few unreleased/bonus tracks (I Say A Little Prayer; Burning Up; Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love) and Rachel (well, technically Lea) singing My Favourite Things in that new Dove ad. As well as a bunch more.

All the covers are custom made (fancy!) and sitting in my harddrive, I just have to wait for the EP Journey to Regionals to be released before I can finish it.

OMG, 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' in the key of Will Schuester, huhu. That's something to look forward to.

I think that's Santana singing in Don't Stop Believing, right? At first at least. I don't like it.
Any Way You Want It and Somewhere Over The Rainbow sound awesome though! I love Glee music!

Puck and Santana sing that first part, then it swaps to Finn and Rachel. I'm assuming everyone has a solo part in it, like they did with Bad Romance. Also I've had Any Way You Want It stuck in my head for the last 2 days.

The Journey to Regionals EP has been leaked early, we can all bask in the deliciousness that is the last few somgs from the first season!

I won't link up with the exact location, however I can tell you that it is possible to find it by doing a quick google search.

So what does everyone think of this season so far?

kurts boyfriend = HAWT.

I loved the singing in the rain/ umbrella mash up.

I'm really liking the current season. Totally diggin' the song selections as well. My favourite song so far has to be I Want To Hold Your Hand sung by Kurt...such a great rearrangement of the song to make it fitting for the episode.


Saying that, I do think the plot is all over the place (well, that's no change from the first series really..); last night, the plot did not move the series forward at ALL.

I don't like Will, and I didn't like "Make 'em Laugh" it had no sense in the episode. ._.

My god... Did you just say... a Flo Flo cover! AGHHHHHH YESSSSSSSSSS

I liked the performance of Make 'Em Laugh, if only for the dancing but I do agree it didn't quite fit. I suppose it was just there because it was mentioned that he loves watching Singin' in the Rain and as well to show off Mike Chang's dancing skills (rumour has it that he's being upgraded to a regular cast member). Also, I suppose it gives Matthew Morrison a chance to sing a solo because as far as I can remember, he hasn't sung since the second episode.

I'm looking forward to the duet of Ohio sung by Sylvester and her mother...I LOVE Carol Burnett!!!

Also, I'm really liking that they're shifting the focus away from Finn and Rachel; they're great but it's time for the others to develop their characters a bit. LIKE SANTANA (TU ERES LOCA!!!). I'm actually in love with her. We definitely need to see more Tina as well; the only thing making her interesting is her relationship with Mike...

I'm finding that this season kind of lacks storyline. The music is great but it feels like every episode is just molded to fit the songs, instead of the songs being picked to go along with the storyline. It's not always that way but I'm not as in love with it as I was in Season 1.

That's true. The only episodes that seemed to drive the plot forwards were the first one, the third one and the sixth one. All the others seemed to just either tribute something or had a guest star. Without revealing anything, the next two seem to be more plot-driven and then we hit the Christmas episode. Judging by the Christmas album, I can expect some really cute couplings. ^^

Also if anyone wants some higher quality (and consistent) covers for the season 2 singles I'll be happy to package up the ones I've done up for episodes 1-7... they're all 800x800px and pretty much identical to each other apart from the slushie and background colours which makes them look great in iTunes.
Oh any yes, I did shamelessly photoshop the slushie from the original covers.

The Rocky Horror covers also have the blood slushie instead of the normal one, a black-to-indigo gradient like the EP cover, and Rocky Horror font for the song titles.
