Because I'm curious. And yes I'm giving 11 options just in case you can't live without any of them. Please explain your choices.

I chose University Life, World Adventures, Seasons, Late Night, and Generations. The others I could take em or leave em. :P Most people probably wouldn't pick WA but I quite like sending my sims on adventures. And Seasons is pretty damned important as is Generations given that I usually have my sims immersed in family life. Just like I did with TS2, I super enjoy sending my sims to University too. :D Late Night has the vamps I like and clubs and stuff. Fun timez. :P

I'm having a really hard time deciding. Though with my problems I decided seeing how my game would run with just one expansion until I can get my computer upgraded. I'm just playing with World Adventures. I'm shocked but it still slows down and lags with just one expansion. |:

Late Night, Pets and Seasons. I cannot live without these three simply because they're the optimal setting for me.

So when I reinstalled all my games the other day, I realized that I cannot live without Late Night or Pets. Those are my two absolute favorites and everything else seems like it can be an addon. That's just my opinion.

This is the first time I've installed Seasons, tho, so we'll see. I'm excited to try out Seasons and Into The Future!

^ You should tell us what you think of Into The Future when you try it. I'm curious. It looks like a good expansion but I'm thinking it doesn't fit my taste or game style.

I've found myself already evading it. It's just... a separate gameplay. Like a mini game. I'm not ready to try it.

^ Separate gameplay the way World Adventures was, or different than that?

I was going to have World Adventures in my list because its one of my favorites, but whenever I have it installed I run into bugs that break the main gameplay (make it so I can't go on adventures). So because of this I'm not going to install it next time. |:

I chose Seasons, Pets, and Late Night. I love everything Seasons added, even besides weather - the festivals and new objects and things to do in every season are great.

I don't always want my Sim family to have a pet but when they do have pets, I love them so much.

I like the social things that Late Night added - bars, dancing, clubs. Vampires are also the supernaturals that I play with the most.

I almost added Island Paradise and University Life but I can live without those... I would just rather not.

I'm still having trouble with this. I like (almost) all of them for different reasons. But having them all installed takes up a ton of space and slows my game down. |:

So I'm thinking..

Keep for sure: Seasons, Generations, University Life
Maybe keep: Supernatural, Pets, Ambitions
Don't keep: Late Night, Island Paradise, World Adventures, Into the Future, Showtime

This is definitely what I would do! Of course, I'd have to keep WA but I understand why you're not. If I was going to keep one of them maybe keeps I'd be torn between Supernatural and Pets but I think I'd ultimately choose Supernatural. I'd let Ambitions go.

Is it stupid that I feel bad not installing Ambitions especially because you got me that one? xD

^ Well it was a long time ago now. It was a good gift though, I do like the Ambitions expansion pack!

I guess they have updated it so you can disable expansions right from the game launcher. If I'd known that I might have just installed everything in case I changed my mind and then just disabled the ones I didn't think I needed.. Now I don't know if it's too late to install the ones I did skip since it would be out of order.. didn't it matter in Sims games to install them in the order they were released?

I think it was recommended to install them in the order they were released, but I don't know if that matters anymore, especially since we've now got the option to disable EPs. If it were me, I would be lazy and just install them out of order now.
