Post Simlish songs
I am a bit of a language nut in a quiet way, and thought it would be interesting to make a collection of all the Simlish lyrics and maybe make an entry on http://www.omniglot.com/babel/index.htm or somewhere similar that lists phrases in various constructed languages (like Star Trek Klingon). I have found lyrics to Smile on YouTube and another few songs, but I wondered if anyone could help out with making a collection, or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Ooh, sounds like fun! I could help out with a couple of the real/sim songs. I pretty much know the words to Smile and Hot N Cold, so I could help out with those two songs. :smile2:

Post Re: Simlish songs
Thank you! I haven't got around to writing down the lyrics from YouTube for Smile yet, so if you know them, that'd be great. It's a bit odd that EA haven't created a Sim songbook, seeing as there are quite a few songs that have been converted to Simlish by now. After all, they had to learn the lyrics (or read them from a cue card).

I am a bit surprised that Simmers don't use a bit more Simlish - there's a bunch of Klingon speakers, after all.

I could do:
Dont Cha - Pussycat Dolls
Chemical React - Aly and AJ

I know those two off by heart. And yes some people find it weird.

Ohh and the BEP songs. I could go back and play Urbz. In about an hour i would know all the lyrics again.

Hmm well if you wonna assign me any songs from up to OFB im willing. I bagsed Chocolate.

EDIT
Oh i'd like to do the Paramore songs off the console as well. I loves those songs.

If you know the full lyrics to all the songs, I can make a big post with all of them on BBS or elsewhere. Thanks a lot - same applies to anyone.

Please list any you know, with the original lyrics if possible. We can keep them on here or BBS as a permanent resource for people to use, and add to when new songs are added when Sims 3 is launched.

Hot N Cold, Smile, Don't Cha, and Sweet about Me could be done by me!!!
Oh, and the song called "Jump", which I think is in either University or Nightlife, but I forgot who it's by. Back in the day I adored that song.

Give me props. I was close and I've never seen the lyrics.
