Post Solution for getting official site downloads to install
I figured a way to make the downloads from the free stuff page on the main snooty sims website http://www.snootysims.com/extrasindex.php?id=freestuff install into them game. You need to download Compressorizer Redux! found here http://sims.jfade.com/index.php?category=10&subcat=5 use this program to compress the files before installing them.
