Will Wright How can I not mention Will Wright. Without him, this site wouldn't even exist. I praise him for his intelligence and determination. When everybody was against him on the Sims project, he stood ground and did not make any compromises. Even though he's not much involved in the Sims 2 anymore, he is the one person who made this game possible. Maxis A great company who really listens to their fans. We want cars in the game? Maxis makes it possible. We whine about not having enough stuff for kids? They make lots of fun stuff for them. Even though some people have the occasional complaint about them (of which I'm sometimes guilty of too), they do their best for the Sims community. Sending inside info to fansites, inviting fansites for expansionpack presentations, holding Chat events, giving free items, and much more. This is not something you see alot in that business. Electronic Arts Even though many people see them as the big bad guy who forces the game out too soon for the money, don't forget that if Electronic Arts did not buy Maxis when it was in financial troubles, there would not be a Sims game. They understand the potential of The Sims 2 and make sure that Maxis gets all the resources they need to create the game and its expansions. SiMan Who is SiMan many may ask? Well, he's the one that designed this site's layout! He made a great layout without even asking. After that, he made 2 more layouts without hesitation and never asking something for in return. Even though a good layout is not always a recipe for the succes of a site, without it, Snooty Sims would never have grown to the size that it is now. The moderators The moderators have quite a big task in the forums. There are many forums to take care of and many messages to check for bad content. Spending much of their own free time, they do a great job of keeping the forum clean and making it a nice place to be. Item contributers Even though Snooty Sims will always be mainly a News and Info site, thanks to the many contributers, there are some really high quality downloads to be found here as well. Making the site much more complete. Other Fansites Never have I advertised this site, never mentioned a specific update or newsitem in another forum. However, many other fansites link to Snooty Sim, either as an affiliate, a place in a Links section or giving a credit when I found something new. With all these links back to this site, Snooty Sims has grown and be known to many people from all around the world. The visitors And lastly ofcourse a thank you to all the visitors. Close to 5 million visitors and growing. Many people even visit the site several times a day. Also a thanks to those that mail me with corrections. I'm quite a perfectionist but not perfect and am grateful when someone points out an error on this site. I really enjoy working on this site, but in the end, I do it all for you.
